Zencafe Linux ISO Mirror Down: Here’s the Solution

Dear Zencafe Linux Community,

I want to start this message with a heartfelt apology. Recently, we’ve experienced some unexpected downtime with the main mirror servers for Zencafe Linux ISO downloads, and I know this has caused frustration for many of you. I deeply regret any inconvenience this has caused, especially to those eager to download and explore the system.

Over the past few days, our servers—particularly the ones hosted by Slackware Indonesia—have been overwhelmed by a significant surge in traffic. To give you an idea, the server was handling between 20 to 30 ISO downloads each night around 22:00 GMT+7. This heavy load has unfortunately led to server crashes, making the downloads inaccessible at crucial times.

I fully understand the frustration this might have caused, and I apologize for not being able to address it sooner. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to find a solution, and I’m happy to report that we’ve made progress.

What We’re Doing to Fix the Issue

In response to the high traffic, I have added four new mirror servers to distribute the load more effectively. These new mirrors should provide you with a stable, reliable way to download Zencafe Linux, especially during peak times.
